Hey, I’m Kevin Pontious, a journalist based in North Vancouver with a passion for unpacking complex issues and making them easy to understand for everyone. My work focuses on municipal politics, the opioid crisis, and homelessness– but I’m always eager to explore new stories that impact our communities. Outside of journalism, I am interested in geopolitics, always keeping an eye on global events and how they shape the world around us. I also am a bit of an NBA ‘sicko’ with a keen interest in the Toronto Raptors. I believe good journalism should spark conversation and bring people closer to the truth.
